Ok so I must be a tard or something but I linked my account through guildworks and my characters face shows up as the little thumbnail/avatar icon through guildwork but not here on our site. I want it to. How can I get it there?

Go back to the avatar on guildwork you want displayed. right-click and save it to your device. click on your empty pic in the top right of this screen. open settings. upload the saved avatar. enjoy.
p.s. this will not update periodically like it does on guildwork.
